I am on win 10 and recent hardware, FC2 never crashed once in countless hours, I even play it also on a laptop with just IGPU from time to time, no crashes and runs incredibly well considering it´s not even a proper gaming GPU. It's gonna crash randomly with or without multifixer regardless, though thankfully it's pretty rare for the game to crash. No need to go to those lengths, just put Vsync on and it'll run fine. If it starts crashing on me, I will use the multi fixer, it seems to solve basically every issue and bug I might encounter. I think I might limit my monitor to 60Hz, and use V-Sync to cap the frame rate, run it with compatibilty mode and manually save my game and hope I won´t have issues. I tend to try and play older games as they were intended, I dont really care if an older game has mods to look better for example, and Far Cry looked amazing for the time (it still does today if I´m honest). I have been reading on this subject, and it seems the game can have issues when it runs at over 60 FPS. The bugs are still the same, but overall the game doesn't crash.mostly.
